“Paul Donahue of Donahue Enterprises oversaw the entire kitchen remodeling project, which included demolition of the old kitchen, installation of new flooring, demo of a wall and design of a new peninsula between the kitchen and the dining room, and installation of backsplash tile. In addition, Paul coordinated and oversaw sub-contractors for installation of new lighting, plumbing, installation of cabinets and countertops, appliance installation, and gas line installation with a vent to the outside.

We will not forget the day we learned that our countertop, purchased from a local “big box” store, could not be manufactured in time to meet our deadline – a family Christmas Eve party. The unexpected delay was entirely out of our hands, so Paul suggested a local granite countertop company and offered to drive us out to their showroom. The end result – we found a perfect piece of in-stock granite to replace the quartz we had originally selected; it was within our budget; and it would be installed well in advance of the party.

Today, we are thoroughly enjoying our beautiful new kitchen. We realize now that things might have been easier if we had brought Paul in at the start of the project to advise us on the overall concept, but we are impressed with how well he worked with the design decisions we had already made. The end result is outstanding, and we wouldn’t hesitate for an instant to recommend Donahue Enterprises, Inc. to others. In fact, I’m sure we’ll call on Paul for future projects, ourselves.”

“This project was done on a 100+ year old house. The work included remodelling of a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, laundry area, and enclosing an unheated porch of about 160 sq ft. A deck was replaced and enlarged and numerous windows were replaced. Paul helped us initially in nailing down what we wanted to do. He taught us a lot about the options and the pros and cons of different materials and techniques. He was willing to accompany us to look at materials and fixtures.
