DON’T MOVE, RENOVATE
THE HOME YOU ALREADY LOVE

and Remodeling Company
With our attention to detail, fine craftsmanship, and innovative designs, your whole house renovation can turn your house into the dream home you’ve always wanted. Some of the nicest homes in Western North Carolina were built decades (if not a century) ago. Some are charming on the outside, but a disaster on the inside. The location may be perfect, but the home has an outdated floorplan or doesn’t let you maximize the indoor/outdoor mountain lifestyle you are dreaming of. So whether you bought a fixer-upper or have lived in your home for many years, and your property needs attention, we would love to help you with your whole house renovation project.
With more than 30 years experience remodeling homes just like yours, we know you want your project to be as seamless and low-impact as possible–all the while respecting your budget. Creating something new from an existing building takes an eye for detail coupled with effective communication skills and the technical and design skills to create functional spaces that are beautiful and perfect for your family… this is who Mountain Remodeling of WNC is and what separates us from other renovation companies.
Trust your renovation dreams to the experts at Mountain Remodeling of Western North Carolina.
Our Process
Whole house renovations require a lot of planning up front to make sure that all aspects of the project are considered properly. We believe it’s the hundred little things instead of just a few big things that make a renovation project successful. From the design phase and proper permit approvals and design review board submissions, to plumbing and electrical planning, and engagement of structural engineers with the specialty of building in the mountains. Each step of our planning process was created to ensure your project moves along seamlessly while limiting unexpected delays within a timeline that works for you and your family.

Getting the right team in place
Demo day is one of the most exciting days of a whole house renovation project. It is when the culmination of all of the planning and budgeting come together and you begin to see your dream take shape. We work with precision to demo out what’s going and protect what’s staying. We secure your property and the work site. We go out of our way to repurpose or upcycle as much material as we can to preserve the character and beauty of your home. We use care with cleanup. Taking these extra steps is just what we do and is often over-looked from other “cookie cutter” renovators.
