We are nearing completion on the new kitchen in Asheville. The kitchen was relocated into a new tw0-story addition. The lower level of the addition is an expansion of the basement level and the second story is part of the main level of the home. Custom hickory cabinets in a warm wood tone compliment the new white oak flooring that was installed to match the flooring in the rest of the home. A comfortable keeping room with a cozy fireplace is directly adjacent to the kitchen in the new space. In the kitchen, a center island with butcher block top provides for great circulation within the kitchen and is a contrast to the white quartz counters on the cabinets that flank the island.
