When you putting an addition onto a hillside home, you must ensure your foundation and footings are secure. This job required the use of helical piers to support the weight and span of the addition and the new deck and covered porch area. When installing these piers you must drill down into bedrock. Luckily we are in a pretty rocky area, so it wasn’t long before we reach the distance we needed.
