This week we are orchestrating the delivery and installation of a massive, 3-panel door meant for the back of the house for our project in Weaverville. The doors are too large to be carried through the house. And they are too heavy to carry around the house and then back up the stairs. We are using a crane to lift them up and over the house and bring them into place on the back. This is an all hands on deck job. We have people on the ground, on the roof, and in the back. We are thankful for sunny skies and low wind when moving around these 500 pound doors and for the steady hands of the crane operator keeping us all safe and ensuring the door wasn’t damaged.
