Mountain Remodeling recently completed a renovation and expansion of the master bath in a 1940’s era home in Asheville. With a new layout, the bathroom’s function and appearance are transformed. Vintage inspired tile was used on the floor with a mix of white and black marble. A simple white subway tile wainscoting protects the walls and matches the style of the period by wrapping the entire room in tile just above the countertop of the vanity. A new, retro-styled inspired bathtub in crisp white has clean lines that bring a modern inspiration to the project. In the newly expanded shower, there is a integrated bench and beautiful, new plumbing fixtures.
