Recently completed home addition project in Sondley Estates, Asheville to create a conservatory at the rear of the home. Detailed millwork with the windows and door trim and a wainscotting below the windows, brings an understated grandeur to the space, while leaving the views as the main feature. The coffered ceilings in the room were painted a sky blue; furthering the connection to nature. The sunroom is a seamless extension of the home and with walls of windows, floods the space with natural light. The openness creates a direct connection to the beautiful landscape of the property and brings the outside in. Direct access to the garden space is found through double French doors and a new patio of flagstone. Visually connecting the new addition to the existing home was achieved by using a brick skirt that matches the brick on the home.
