Mountain Rustic Kitchen

Complete with knotty alder wood semi-custom cabinets, this mountain rustic kitchen remodel project is located in Mars Hill, NC.  We were brought in to reconfigure the kitchen to create a better floorplan, to update the kitchen finishes, and to build a kitchen that matched the charming mountain character of the home.  Moving the refrigerator created a much better flow through the kitchen.  An existing double bowl sink was changed out to a more modern and appealing single bowl sink.  New lighting was added over the sink and undermounted in the cabinets.  A new stainless steel appliance package compliments the new tile backsplash and new granite countertops to create a kitchen with rustic appeal.

To improve energy efficiency in this mountain home, other updates we made including changing out the windows and doors, installing a new propane furnace, and adding spray foam insulation in the crawl space.
